Official culture

  Chen Tingjing functioned as a government official for 53 years, promoted 28 times in the complicated and dangerous political career, going all the way up to Wenyuange academician.   Commercial culture
  The Chen family is a representative of early Shanxi¨s commercial culture. In the time of late Ming and early Qing, this family¨s trading activities reached very far places as South-east Asia and Russia.
